On August 8, 2019, Prof. Gao Fei, from Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM), visited our school and delivered the academic lecture of " New Era of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles ", which was presided over by Prof. Li Qi. Prof. Chen Wei-rong, dean of fhe School of Electrical Engineering, prof. Zou Jian-xiao, deputy dean of School of Automation, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), and students from SWJTU andUESTC also attended the lecture.

    Prof. Gao Fei presented a two-hour lecture on the development of fuel cell vehicles around the world. In the lecture, he introduced the key components and core technologies of vehicle fuel cell system by taking Toyota Mirai fuel cell vehicle as an example. Then he analyzed the technical bottlenecks and future development trends of fuel cell commercialization from three aspects: cost, durability and hydrogen source. Dean Chen Wei-rong presented the appointment letter of SWJTU Visiting Professor to Prof. Gao Fei.

    After the lecture, Prof. Gao visited the New Energy Laboratory of Rail Transit. He put forward some valuable suggestions and warmly invited the teachers and students to visit and exchange to UTBM.
