On the morning of June 7, China Railway Wuhan Electrification Bureau Group and Southwest Jiaotong University signed the strategic cooperation agreement on Xipu Campus. President Yang Dan, Vice President Feng Xiao-yun of SWJTU, General Manager Mao Ming-hua, Vice General Manager and Chief Engineer Ma Hai-jun, Vice General Manager Liu Gang and Vice Chief Engineer Shen Man-sheng of China Railway Wuhan Electrification Bureau attended the ceremony. Both parties in charge exchanged ideas and the ceremony was hosted by Vice President Feng.

Yang pointed out that China Railway Wuhan Electrification Bureau, which is one of the Top 500 World Enterprises and World Brands, has been based on the forefront of high-speed railroad electrification construction technology, mastered the core technology of electrification construction in the mountainous, alpine, strong-wind area and high-speed railway. Both sides of Southwest Jiaotong University and China Railway Wuhan Electrification Bureau have carried out lots of cooperation in personnel training, technology research and development, etc. SWJTU attaches great importance to the cooperation with China Railway Wuhan Electrification Bureau and hopes that both sides can cooperate for win-win and complementary development and make new and greater contributions to national economic construction and social development.
